From the very beginning, meetups have been a crucial part of the Surfpreneuers Club.
Everything was born when - after a usual post surfing beer - our founders Peter and James, asked themselves: “Wouldn’t it be cool to get other surf focused brands to join us?”.
All idea around the Surfpreneurs Club is to connect surf-minded entrepreneurs and create the conditions to meet your next co-founder or simply just have a conversation that could inspire and lead you to new business insights.
In the last four years, Surfpreneurs meetups took place in Ericeira, Auckland, Barcelona, Lisbon and on Zoom during the COVID - they all have been hosted by surfpreneurs like you.
Why you should host
We encourage self-organized events that respect the social distancing norms implemented by each country.
Hosting is a great opportunity to create your own network, potential partnerships and brainstorm together which opportunities can be found in a specific geomarket.
(By hosting a meetup you can also meet cool new friends! 😉)
How to do that (very easy!)
If you’re interested in organizing a happy hour, brunch, or a beer after surfing, we’d love to give you a few tips on how to write a post on our FB group!
Post your interest to meet and see how many people are up to join
Be clear about the date and location. If you are uncertain, ask if someone knows a cool place to hang out
Do you want to organise a mastermind or do you prefer a chill meetup? You host it and you decide the vibe
Don’t forget to take a pic and share it. We are the 1st global surf entrepreneur community, so yes, that’s quite special 🤙
If you tell us about the meet up at least one month in advance, we send you some cool surfprenuers stickers!
Here a good example from Olmo of SurfaWhile:
Do you want to organise a meetup, but still have doubts?
Better ask Peter! 🤓 —> peter@thesurfoffice.com
